I'm renting out my goods and services for the next two weeks. Let's make a deal!

Rent me or my stuff, for a limited time only

Raise your hand if you want to save money and get stuff done?

Yes. You. I can help you.

Over the next two weeks, I’ll be trying to rent out as much of my life as possible. It’s part of an experiment I’m writing about for a magazine story.

So, how may I help you?

If you’re in the SF Bay area, you might be interested in renting some of my stuff. This is all for real, no joking:

Bikes (men’s, woman’s, four year old’s)

A dog (a sweet border collie, Clementine; rent her for an hour to play fetch? Very relaxing)

A car (1992 Saab, stick shift)

My wife’s new Vitamix blender (these things are incredible! If you’ve been thinking of buying one, you should give it a test-run first)

Lots of tools: table saw, jig saw, sander, drill, weed whacker, push mower, rakes, shovels.

Guitars (electric or acoustic), ukelele

MacBook Pro laptop

Men’s suits (40R) and shoes (10.5)

Fishing gear — fly and bait fishing

Books … and more!

Services for hire (SF Bay area):

Dish washing

Mailing stuff

Guitar lessons

Gardening and yardwork

Laundry

Taxi service

Elderly companionship (I like talking with old people. I will keep your grandfather company for an hour, or read someone a story).

Conversation partner/event companion/friend: Need a date for a company party, or just someone to throw the frisbee around with? I can!

Virtual services. If you’re not in the Bay Area, I can still help:

Performance/presentation coaching (I’m a professional stage performer and communications consultant; do you have a talk coming up? A wedding toast? I can help! Let’s Skype!)

Life coaching via phone or Skype. I’m a good listener, and I ask good questions. I can help you see things that might be holding you back from achieving your true potential.

Writing, editing and research (copywriting, business proposals, journalism, comic writing)

Tutoring

What else do you need? Don’t be afraid to ask! I can probably help you. Give me a call or email. And please forward to your friends, colleagues and family!

Thanks,
